Bernard McEvoy

Managing Partner

Bernard is the founder of the firm and its managing partner. He qualified as an Irish lawyer in 1982 and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1987. Bernard's contact base in Dublin and the wider Irish market is second to none. He is a keen and skilled negotiator always driving to look for solutions as opposed to problems. Prior to founding McEvoy Corporate Law, Bernard was a partner in an international law firm based in London where he set up and managed the Irish team of that firm. During his years of practice Bernard has built up extensive experience skill and know-how in all areas where business and law interact.

Inez Cullen

Senior Associate

Inez, senior associate with McEvoy Corporate Law, has wide ranging transactional experience and has represented clients in matters including mergers and acquisitions, fundraisings, AIM admissions and placings, start-up investments, corporate governance, corporate recovery/restructurings and commercial litigation.

Inez is a qualified Irish and UK lawyer. Her knowledge together with practical experience enables her to represent companies, directors, shareholders, debtors and creditors alike with a strong focus on commercial realism, flexibility and attention to detail.

Rebecca McEvoy

Associate

Rebecca, associate with McEvoy Corporate Law, represents domestic and international clients on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters. Rebecca focuses mainly on mergers and acquistions, commercial contracts, joint ventures and shareholders agreements', transaction structuring, IPOs and commercial litigation. 

Rebecca joined the firm in January 2017 from one of Ireland’s top 5 law firms, where she qualified as a solicitor in 2013. Rebecca has a strong attention to detail, and this together with her practical experience and client focus makes her a strong addition to our team.

Kate McNamara

Associate

Kate, associate with McEvoy Corporate Law, specialises in advising on all property law issues. Kate’s clients include developers, property companies, lending institutions and private clients who she works with on a broad and varied range of matters including commercial leasing, commercial property acquisitions and disposals, developments schemes, restructuring issues, secured finance, residential conveyancing, landlord and tenant issues, and property title reviews.

Kate,  who trained in an international corporate law firm was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2013, and has worked in a boutique commercial law firm since qualification. Kate has completed the necessary exams to be dual qualified in England & Wales. Kate is extremely client focused and enjoys building strong relationships built on practical, commercially driven pragmatic advice.
